Question:
When do people officially stop growing?
| |
| |
Giovanni- there is no exact age for when people stop growing. That is different for each person and is determined by their gender, how fast that individual matures, and other health related factors. On average, females tend to stop growing in their teenage years while males continue to grow into their early 20's.

Yeah human growth is only somewhat predictable. When I was 11 my doctor told me my projected height was 5'9". My family has a tendency to be average height.
And now I'm 6'2"! The doctor was super surprised when he found out how tall I had grown. I beat genetic odds!
