I'm interested in moving into Manhattan thought I know it can get very expensive easily. Does anybody have any suggestions for realtors?

Question:
I'm looking for a town out West that has old homes-pre-1900. Any reccos would be appreciated.

Pasadena as wonderful old homes--not sure how many are pre-1900, but certainly old world charm. It has a great downtown area as well. San Fran area fits the bill as well if you want to head up north.

Question:
I am thinking about moving up to Vermont. I know where all the good mountains are but I'm not sure what areas are good to live in. Any recommendations for areas that are not too expensive?

Overall, Vermont is a lot less expensive to live in than most states in the Northeast. If you really love being outdoors it's just as good in the summer as the winter. The "best" place has to consider factors like schools if you have kids or proximity to an area with that has more job opportunities. Bennington has a great downtown, is close enough to several ski areas, is a college town and has a variety of living choices from condos to country home-hope that helps!
